Which helmet(s) do you wear ?

Long tail or TSG pass, one is certified the other is not, I like both for different reasons none the less.

What protection do you use ?

People say would you feel safe without your gloves and just your helmet?
I told em no! I would rather have my gloves over my helmet and just skate the road to my ability.

What safety precautions do you take when riding on open roads ?

Skate it like its an open road, poke “saftie drifts”.

Have you been into any serious accidents ? If so, did protection help you there ?

Seen a couple buddies get broke the fuck off. Yeah its never fun watching your friends fall.

What’s the best (safety) advice someone gave you ?

Get in that ass but don’t be an ass… Stay within your limits and respect the sport and hill.

Have you ever refused to ride an event, because safety measures weren’t taken (enough) and if so why ?

I have thought about this before but then again… we are all a bunch of adrenaline junkies and push-overs that suffer from peer pressure. Just because one person wants to do something others don’t, doesn’t always mean its legit or respectable. Like race on open roads. Cant stand people who want to have races on open roads.

What changes would you like to see/propose in terms of safety regulations (during events) ?

I would just like a better schedule. But on the reals, I would love to see some legit safety measures at IDF world cup events, I mean it’s a world cup race!

What do you think of the current helmet policies from IGSA/IDF ?

I would have to say its good, just get a safe/ safe looking and safe-ish helmet I mean its your head!

What do you think of introducing the obligation for a back protector in downhill events ?

I’m a fan. I got hit once in the back with out one by a metal Roger Bros board.

Is there something you would like to say about safety which hasn’t been addressed in the previous questions ?

Well, if we do more events on ski resorts we can take advantage of there summer safety equipment. Use the foam pads and such they have laying around and or work with mountains to build a down hill track for summer usage. Look at Catalina Classic and how they have the most epic foam pads/ safety stuff.
